CPRC Junior Program
CPRC is committed to the growth of youth tennis by joining Net Generation. Net Generation, official youth tennis of the USTA, is a celebration of a game where no one sits on the sideline. Tennis is easy to learn and tailored for all ages and abilities, helping kids build friendships and learn skills they’ll use for life. Through innovative programs and new formats of play, we can build the next Generation of Greats.

CPRC-National Junior Tennis League (NJTL)
CPRC has received approval from USTA Foundation as a recognized NJTL organization
History
In 1969 Arthur Ashe and co-founders Charlie Pasarell and Sheridan Snyder established the National Junior Tennis League (NJTL). Pasarell, a former teammate at UCLA, devoted his life to building the game of tennis and Snyder, a biotech entrepreneur, had a passion for tennis and helped young people as well. Ashe described their collaboration this way, “our idea is to use tennis as a way to gain and hold the attention of young people so that we can teach them about matters more important than tennis …. through tennis, life can be changed and spirits reclaimed.”
CPRC-NJTL is a non-profit community organization dedicated to improving the lives of youth from diverse cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. Through tennis, academic enrichment, character development, and healthy living, CPRC-NJTL’s goal is to provide the necessary support to promote holistic growth to prepare youth for future success on the tennis court and in life.
We provide easy access to quality tennis programs that incorporate learning, developing leadership and good sportsmanship, team spirit, and fairness in all students.
We seek new and innovative ways to be more visible and productive in under-resourced areas in attracting and maintaining youth participation in the game of tennis.
